Deal of the day: bumGenius and Flip Diapers

Cottonbabies.com has some seconds up for sale today. Run fast because these never last long. Newborns are priced at $7.50 (read my review here) and Elementals are $17. I strongly recommend that you try either of these because even if they don't work out, you can re-sell them for about the same price that you paid. I also spotted some Flip covers on sale as well as an Econobum cover for less than $5. Economy shipping is free! I have used their diapers that are marked as "seconds" and I have never been able to tell a difference, sometimes it just means that they are dirty (so wash them first, which you should do anyway!)

Constellation Turtle Nightlight Only $15 Shipped

Today only, 1 Sale A Day is offering the Constellation Turtle Nightlight for just $9.99 plus shipping ($4.99 per item)! That's less than $15 shipped. If you've seen these elsewhere, they can cost anywhere from $30-$60. Right now, you can get it in Pink, Green, or Brown for a fraction of the retail price. The Music & Star Constellation Turtle Nightlight features four colored light modes and four musical selections. It comes with a one year warranty as well. If your child has a birthday coming up, or you want to save this for a Christmas gift, I would head over and grab one. The sale ends at 11:59PM tonight.

No More Rack is having a similar sale on the same item. They are offering the Constellation Turtle Nightlight for just $13.00 plus shipping ($2.00 per item). So, you will save $0.02 if you purchase through 1 Sale A Day, but No More Rack is offering the turtle in Orange as well. So, if you have a child that desperately loves the color orange, I would recommend purchasing through No More Rack. Also, this sale ends at 11:59AM on August 1st.

Cheap Huggies wipes at Walgreens

Huggies wipes are $2.49 at Walgreens this week. There is also a $1 off Huggies wipes coupon in the July coupon booklet. You will find this booklet at the front of the store near the weekly ad. There was a $.50 off Huggies manufactures coupon in the paper a while back or if you are on Huggies mailing list they sent a coupon for $.75 off wipes (with a couple of coupons for diapers as well.) With these manufactures coupons you could get the wipes for either $.75 or $1 since Walgreens allows you to stack on manufactures coupon with one Walgreens coupon. I normally use cloth wipes at home but I do use disposables for going out and I prefer Huggies (unscented) to most others.

Deal of the Day - Amazon video games

All video games and accessories are buy one get one free until July 9th! Amazon has really good prices on video games anyway so this is a pretty awesome deal! You can also use Amazon gift cards that you earned from Swagbucks or from doing surveys at Opinion Outpost. If you haven't signed up for Swagbucks or Opinion Outpost check them out! I make a little extra money through both each month.

Wal-Mart deals

If you live near a Wal-Mart (and it's pretty safe to say that most people do) you should definitely check your Wal-Mart to see if they have any baby deals going on right now. The Wal-Mart closest to me rarely has super cheap sales (the kind outside the store) but I found one in Springfield last week. We were in Springfield for my husbands doctor appointment and happened to run by Wal-Mart, outside the store there were racks of baby clothes for $1! They also had a few other items but mostly smaller (girly!) baby clothes. Here is what I got:

Most of these were for Mikaela, although there are some boy onesies there for our pregnant cousin too. I didn't need any clothes for Mikaela now, so I bought some for next summer, and even a few for the NEXT summer! They were very cute clothes too, and at that price you really can't go wrong. It's hard to buy cheaper clothes even at yard sales or consignment stores.
I also got these, the hoodie and long sleeved shirt were for me and the jacket was for my mom. Also just $1 each! I had meant to go to Walgreens and use some coupons for a few things but they were out (end of the week) of most of there sale items. The Wal-Mart deals definitely made up for that. I am attempting to use coupons combined with store sales for bigger savings. I'm not much of a "couponer" but I am hoping to learn. If you are interested in doing this, check out this site. It has links to all the bigger stores as well as which coupons to use for maximum savings. It also has links to grocery store deals in your state. Check it out!
